Privacy Policy

The short version

FullPageSaver does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Screenshots are captured and processed entirely on your local machine. No analytics, no tracking, no cloud uploads.

What data we access

The extension uses the following Chrome APIs, all of which operate locally on your device:

• activeTab / captureVisibleTab — captures the currently visible tab when you click the icon or press the keyboard shortcut. Only runs on the tab you explicitly activate it on.
• storage (sync) — stores your preferences (capture delay, output format, premium status) in Chrome's built-in sync storage so settings follow you across devices. No personal data is stored.
• storage (local) — temporarily holds the captured screenshot data URL so it can be passed to the viewer tab. This data is deleted as soon as the viewer loads it.
• downloads — used only when you explicitly choose to download a screenshot via the Save As dialog or auto-download feature. No downloads occur without your action.
• scripting — injects the content script that handles scrolling and fixed-element detection. Only injected into the tab you're capturing.

What we don't do

• We don't collect analytics or telemetry
• We don't transmit screenshots or page content to any server
• We don't track your browsing history or activity
• We don't use cookies or third-party trackers
• We don't sell, share, or monetise any data

License key validation

When you activate a Premium license key, the extension sends only the license key string to our validation endpoint to verify it. No other data (browser info, URLs, screenshots, or personal information) is included in this request. The validation response contains only a success/failure status.

Third-party services

Premium license purchases are processed through our payment provider. Their privacy policy governs the handling of payment information. FullPageSaver never receives or stores your credit card details.

Data retention

Since we don't collect data, there is nothing to retain. Screenshot data exists only in your browser's local memory during the capture process and is discarded after you close the viewer tab.

Children's privacy

FullPageSaver does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also note them in the Chrome Web Store listing.
